Doré works in a variety of media, to include sculpture and painting. A graduate of Vassar College with a BA in Art History, she continues taking courses in the fine arts.

Doré studied stone carving under Constantine Seferlis, master carver at the Washington National Cathedral. One of her sculptures, a cherub carved from a 350 pound block of Indiana Limestone, perches on a quartz rock in the prayer garden of St. Mark Catholic Church in Vienna, Virginia.
Awards include Honors at numerous Vienna Arts Society exhibitions. Her work has been featured in many publications, to include élan magazine.
Doré organizes outreaches for the Vienna Arts Society, such as the Healing Wall project, working with troops on the mend at the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital.
