Sunday Night Life (SNL) is a weekly gathering of friends and fellow Christians where people of all ages can engage in conversation over a communally prepared meal. Pastor Krista will lead participants in the week’s topic and in sharing the eucharist at the close of the meal. Whether you are a single adult who’s new to the area or you’re looking for a fun way to engage the whole family in a faith-filled evening, everyone is welcome here.
At the heart of SNL is our community dinner church – a meal prepared and shared together as one family no matter our own family background. Dinner is served at 5:00 p.m. And since Jesus never passed up an opportunity to gather with friends and strangers around the table, we invite Him to each gathering. He becomes the host as we close dinner hearing His Word and sharing His gift of body and blood given and poured out for us in bread and wine.
But there’s more to SNL than dinner church! We gather at 4:00 p.m. to begin meal preparation. And while the kitchen volunteers get things ready, all others (kids, youth and adults) have an open time for fun and recreation of all sorts. Some days we’ll offer a focused program for a specific age and/or interest group in this time frame. Other days we’ll offer an age or interest specific program AFTER dinner in the 6:00-7:00 p.m. block.
